Laidback Luke & Lee Mortimer - Strobelight

Armed with Dutch bleeps, this collaboration between Laidback Luke and the UK's Lee Mortimer packs quite the punch. In fact, under "genre" on SoundCloud, they dub the track as "ballsy." Haha! The track will be released on Laidback Luke's Mixmash Records.

BareSkin - Eyes

I cannot get enough of this song! I actually stumbled upon it while searching for the latest George FitzGerald release on Hypercolour (which I have yet to find!). This track comes from Josh Thompson under the moniker BareSkin and is from his upcoming EP on Hypercolour called Eyes. It is so crazy, this producer is only 18!
"I know you want me I can see it in your eyes..."

Miguel Campbell - Back in Flight School

Hot Creations mainstay Miguel Campbell http://jackhadagroove.blogspot.ca/2012/09/miguel-campbell-rockin-beats.html is releasing his new album at the end of October 2012. The album encompasses a wide variety of sounds, including funk, hip hop, 80s pop, electro, and of course, house. It is so refreshing to see an album emerge that does not commit to one sound. Few albums in electronica are doing that these days, and its nice to perhaps see a resurgence of that phenomenon.

Roses Gabor - Stars

The UK's Roses Gabor was first brought to my attention with her collaboration with SBTRKT called Pharaohs, where her delicate yet powerful voice was introduced to a larger scene. She later collaborated with producer Martelo and released a free mixtape entitled The Wonderful World of Roses Gabor http://soundcloud.com/rosesgabor/the-wonderful-world-of-roses. Her latest release is Stars, a beautiful melodic track, and its no wonder I instantly fell in love as it was produced by Redlight. The track comes off of Toddla T's label Girls Music, and is accompanied by a visually simulating clip.

Tom Flynn & Shadow Child - Phil Collins EP

Birmingham's (that's England, not Alabama) Tom Flynn and Portsmouth's Shadow Child are two of my fav producers and they come together to release a new EP on Mark Fanciulli's Deleted label. The 2 track EP is called Phil Collins, and though I don't quite understand why, I approve cause Collins is one of my favorite singers from the 80s!

Green Velvet & Harvard Bass - Lazer Beams

Curtis Jones aka Green Velvet aka Cajmere partners up with Victor Ramos aka Harvard Bass to send out Lazer Beams across the earth! Its Chicago House meets West Coast bass and the result is a tech house ditty that will blind any dance floor.

Daddy's Groove - P.I.M.P.

This has Guetta->Afrojack->Daddy's Groove written all over it! What I mean is, it sounds like an Afrojack track, who was taken under the wing of David Guetta, who has been championing Daddy's Groove as of late (Guetta released "Turn the Lights Down" on his label Jack Back Records. The Italian trio consists of Gianni Romano, Carlo Grieco and Pepe Folliero, and the heavy hitting track is being released on Azuli Records.

Riva Starr - OPA!

An Italian gone Greek! Riva Starr's latest on his Snatch! label is OPA! I gotta admit, the track reminds me of Romanian accordion meets Basement Jaxx! Holy exclamation mark! The B-side is "All Over the Place" featuring French group dOP.

X-Press 2 - Muzik Xpress (Remixes)

I think I have mentioned this before. One of my all-time favorite tracks is Muzik Xpress by X-Press 2 (best use of cowbell ever!). I had a cringe moment when I saw the remix package from Skint. NOTHING will ever compare to the original. This is just one of those cases that no matter how hard they try, they will fail to make the track better. Mission IMPOSSIBLE! If I had to choose I would say the Coyu remix is the winner, but I still think some tracks just simply do not need a remix.

Erick Morillo, Denis The Menace & Sandro Monte feat. Shawnee Taylor - Love In Me

Unless you are living under a rock you will know this House legend's name: Erick Morillo. The Subliminal label boss has been making incredible records for decades, being the producer of Reel 2 Real, dropping tunes under aliases like Lil' Mo' Ying Yang (with Louie Vega), RAW, and others.

One of his latest projects is called Sympho Nympho, with longtime friends Harry Choo Choo Romero and Jose Nunez.
This time around, he's teaming up with Berlin based Denis The Menace and Sweden's Sandro Monte for "Love in Me" with the strong house vocals of Shawnee Taylor. Taylor has worked with Morillo many times in the past, with tracks such as Live Your Life, Stronger, and Colors.
I opted to post this clip instead of the SoundCloud one cause I love the way Morillo gets so into it, lip synching the words!
Sympho Nympho also did a remix of the track:
Fun fact: I read in Mixmag today that they are going to name a street in New Jersey which is where Morillo is from after the DJ! Quite an honour! http://www.mixmag.net/words/news/morillo-gets-a-street-name-in-jersey
