David Morales & Roisin Murphy - Golden Era

Two people who made a huge impact on House music in the past have come together to create "Golden Era." David Morales has been a longtime producer of house and remixer for house and pop records alike. Some of my favorite of his are "In de Ghetto" as Bad Yard Club, "How Would You Feel" and of course "Needin' U" as David Morales Presents the Face. My favorite remix is that of Jaydee's Plastic Dreams:

Roisin Murphy is the Irish vocalist of Moloko who went on to do solo work following the break up (professionally and romantically) with Mark Brydon, Moloko's producer. Their track "Sing It Back" was remixed by Boris Dlugosch and Mousse T and became a commercial hit. Her solo work was also often remixed, one of my favorites being the Seamus Haji remix of Overpowered.
Golden Era has received the remix treatment from Director's Cut (Frankie Knuckles + Eric Kupper), Hector Romero, DJ Meme and more http://www.traxsource.com/index.php?act=show&fc=tpage&cr=titles&cv=154948. Check out Mr. Morales looking dapper in the video for Golden Era below:

The video takes a small dig at EDM as you see someone smashing a record, and Morales' lady turns to an "EDM bro" with Murphy singing "is this the end of the Golden Era?" I guess everyone who helped create the scene is now lamenting about its current state...
