What do J Paul Getto and Todd Terry have in common? Their manager! And now this EP! Todd Terry is NYC House music legend, and J Paul Getto the Boston based duo I talked about a while back: http://jackhadagroove.blogspot.ca/2012/04/j-paul-getto.html. Their name is the "ghetto" version of Jean Paul Getty (the late oil magnate).
The Sure Shot goes in and delivers some funky horns and hip swinging bass. Wash the Window gets spiritual with vocals reciting verses from the "Our Father" prayer, and has elements that remind me of Prince.
