The following year, his smooth vocals appeared on Kraak & Smaak's jazz-infused "Squeeze Me."
He was then approached by acclaimed House label Strictly Rhythm (home to classic records from the likes of Armand Van Helden, Todd Terry, Erick Morillo to name but a few) to release his second album "There's More to Life Than This." Big time electronic producers such as Rasmus Faber, Henrik Schwarz, Chocolate Puma, Motor City Drum Ensemble and Redlight contributed to the album. The first track I heard off of it was "Something For The Weekend"
Chocolate Puma contributed to the production of "Same Thing." They also remixed the track they helped produce, this time adding some festive horns.
I couldn't help but draw comparisons to Calvin Harris and Ben Westbeech, but the major difference for me is that Westbeech is a trained vocalist, while Harris is much more involved in the production realm. However, Westbeech has a side project called BrEaCh, which is much more electro than his namesake brand. Taking control of the production wheel, his BrEaCh tracks have caught the eye of DirtyBird, Redlight's Lobster Boy and Pet Recordings.
These are two of my favorite BrEaCh remixes.
He is definitely one to watch. Keep your eye out!
