Opening track "It's Still Early" reminds me of DJ Shadow
Title track "Brains" has an old school feel
"Righteous Sound" featuring the vocals of Omar (Lye-Fook I believe) is a strong contender as my favorite track of the album. Very soulful.
"Be Down" is a more fast paced ditty designed for booty shaking.
"Timesome" samples Moby's track "Honey"
"Goodnight" is simply one of the best closing tracks I've heard in a long time.
Out on Jesse Rose's label Made to Play. This album was made to play, beginning to end. Amazing.
